Forma and the environment 

Sustainability is a topic that is encompasses many meanings for us, and every day we work hard to achieve it on multiple fronts.

We firmly believe in respecting the environment, which is why we decided - back in 2013 - to undertake a course of management of our organisational system that would comply with the ISO 14001 standard, the benchmark for companies that want an Environmental Management System.

On a daily basis, we try to minimise the use of plastic materials or materials that are harmful to the health of people and the environment: 

• all our cardboard packaging is FSC- or RESY-labelled and therefore made from recycled material that can be recycled again
  
  
• we use synthetic-based cutting oils that guarantee low volatility and a consequently safer working environment
  
  
• The parts produced are washed by a closed-circuit washing plant using modified alcohols. The filtering system guarantees the recovery of 99% of the emulsifying oils, preventing them from being dispersed into the environment.

The acquisition of production sites capable of achieving high qualitative standards, improving flexibility while respecting the environment, is one of our priorities and allows us to maximise performance, adopting modern and sustainable production cycles and processes. This reduces our environmental impact, improves the health conditions of our working areas, and guarantees timely attention to costs.

A technologically modern and sustainable manufacturing process is reliable, repeatable and minimises waste in terms of time, energy and materials.

Our production is entirely Made in Italy and the raw materials used all come from certified Italian and European suppliers.

Our modernisation process currently involves two of our five locations. 

The plants in Armeno and Omegna, immersed in natural surroundings and located just a stone's throw from the waters of Lake Orta, have been completely renovated and equipped with new spaces to offer staff training rooms as well as bright and spacious offices.
